The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting cooler (50) and the days are still very warm (91).
The water at the area lakes is being drawn down to accommodate the heavy rains expected later this fall and for flood control.
Harvest Celebrations are being posted around town, getting ready for the wonderful fall weather

Fall is skirting into Rutledge
Today I went for morning coffee on the back porch to a very cool fifty degrees!
